My Story

I wasn't supposed to be in tech.

Funny enough, my career in tech wasn’t planned at all. It kind of found me.

In 1996, I started an internship at a bank. For the first three weeks, I was placed in the IT department. When someone from HR came to “fix the mistake,” my manager stepped in and told them, “She’s not going anywhere.” And that was that. I stayed.

Everything I’ve learned about technology came from doing the work—on the job, hands-on, and self-taught. My academic path was always rooted in business, not IT. But over the years, I built a long and wide career filled with stories, lessons, and real-life experience. Somewhere along the way, I realized: this work, this knowledge, isn’t just mine. It’s meant to be shared.

That’s why I created Resorso—a space where I could give back by making tech make sense for real people. A space for the people who were never invited into the conversation, but who deserve to shape the future just as much as anyone else.

If my work helps even a few people feel more powerful, more included, or more protected in this digital world, then every second of it is worth it.

My Signature Beliefs:

  • Your data is your power—own it.

  • Digital inclusion is non-negotiable.

  • Tech should work for people, not against them.
